Our Story
Ora designs and builds custom wellness spaces for homes, gyms, studios, retreats, and hospitality environments. We specialize in premium cold plunges, saunas, and tailored wellness features that are designed to integrate seamlessly into the spaces around them.
Our work is centered around creating spaces that feel elevated, intentional, and built to last. We believe wellness should not feel like an afterthought or a standalone add-on. It should feel considered from the beginning and connected to the overall design, flow, and atmosphere of the environment.
Working closely with architects, designers, builders, and private clients, we create pieces that are both highly functional and visually refined. Every project is approached with careful attention to proportion, materiality, durability, and the overall feeling of the space.
Whether we are contributing to a private home, a recovery-focused gym, a boutique yoga studio, or a larger hospitality setting, our goal is always the same: to deliver a result that feels cohesive, premium, and true to the vision behind it.
No two projects are the same, which is why we take a customized approach to every build. Some clients come to us looking for a bold signature feature. Others want a wellness element that sits quietly and naturally within a larger architectural space. We work closely with the project team to develop solutions that not only perform at a high level but also complement the surrounding materials, finishes, and design language.
At Ora, we value craftsmanship, clean design, and thoughtful collaboration. Our aim is to create wellness spaces that feel timeless, functional, and memorable, spaces people want to return to again and again.
Before Ora, I owned and operated a company dedicated to retrofitting high-end homes. We assembled a large team of specialists to deliver bespoke residential refurbishments with a focus on detail, longevity, and quality.
I then moved into the superyacht industry, where I served as both captain and project manager on luxury yacht refits. That experience sharpened my focus on craftsmanship and the seamless blending of form and function.
Later, I founded Van Damme Conversions, creating bespoke vans where design meets adventure.
All of these experiences, residential, yachts, and custom vehicles, led me to create Ora. Now, I design and build custom cold plunges, saunas, and wellness spaces, collaborating with architects and designers to bring truly intentional spaces to life.
